Excited to position their new business branding in the interest of their target clientele, The Specialist Foot Clinic (SFC) break-away from the typical clinical visuals you would generally see in the medical sector, focusing on the positive end results with an approachable family friendly tone.

Project Overview

THE SPECIALIST FOOT CLINIC // Brand Identity / Website Design / Print Design / Copy Writing

ABOUT

SFC are a collective of the UK’s leading lower limb specialists, who work in partnership to advise and treat problems, helping their patients to get back to what they love doing.

They are accredited by both the Royal College of Podiatry and the Health and Care Professionals Council for their specialist knowledge in Neurological, Cardiological, Foot Surgery, X-ray and diagnostics.

BRAND TONE

We proposed and directed a new approach for a clinic-based business in the UK. Clinics can be an anxious space for some people and we wanted to minimise that feeling for them when interacting with SFC.

We chose a soft brand voice, friendly fonts, colour pallet and imagery to display the approachable nature of what SFC offer. And by focusing on the positive results of their services, we believed it would give patients comfort and confidence in choosing SFC for their medical advice.

BRAND ID

SFC had asked that the logo held a professional and friendly appeal, without being overly illustrated and too obvious, as other clinics might lean towards.

So we developed their brand ID, hiding a representation of feet in the terminal of the letters ‘S’ and ‘C’ creating the ball of a foot. Floated circles representing toes with the letter ‘F’ hold the icon together as the big toe on both sides.

WEBSITE DESIGN

We designed and built the SFC website to explain to new patients the benefits and the procedures that are available though their surgery.

With a wide-ranging client base, it needed to be easy to understand, relatable and usable by all ages. Ensuring a natural and clear route to booking an appointment was necessary.

It was also important to outline common problems and procedures as a guide to answer any FAQ’s for the visitor.

PRINT

The creative built around the website was transferred to useful print materials.

Creating a double-sided folded appointment card, supportive of those that aren’t familiar with computers and smartphones allows them to slot important information form the appointment into their purse and wallets.

We allowed space for the next booked appointment, important notes to remember and details of each surgery.
