Tasked with a new vision for their annual marketing campaign to encourage students to apply for higher educational courses, we supported CCCU in designing their undergraduate prospectus, print advertising and the creative for their UCAS exhibition stand.

UNDERGRADUATE PROSPECTUS

We were asked to present a fresh creative for CCCU’s prospectus to encourage new students to apply to courses at the university.

The new direction was to lead with a creative approach but upholding its professional reputation. Clean, crisp and colour sprung to mind. Warm and friendly but not taking away from the importance of the extensive courses they offer in professional sectors.

It had to uphold a motto throughout ‘YOU CAN BE’. A message of encouragement and reassurance with a focus on YOU, cementing the university's priority to the students they look to enroll.

There are two key components to the prospectus;

The introductory pages which present the university, its campus, its student offering and support. A guide to what goes on, in and around the university and the city of Canterbury.

Secondly, the course information pages which explain in depth the requirements for entry, course outlines and what can be expected once graduated.

Each section was introduced with a photograph of a CCCU student who was studying a course within each particular section. A realistic approach that added a personal and relatable feel.

ADVERTISING

After the prospectus was created we were asked to create billboards, bus-stop banners, magazine adverts and digital web-adverts for CCCU’s student enrolment marketing campaign.

The creative was led by the prospectus design, but using only the CCCU brand colours.

EXHIBITION DESIGN

CCCU represent their university at the annual UCAS Exhibition. A showcase of all the universities around the UK.

Bringing across the creative from the prospectus and the marketing campaigns we created the exhibition graphics to fit around the display unit supplied.
